1. IntroductionThis Privacy Policy describes what data may be processed when using the mobile application “Medication Reminder — Pill Reminder” hereinafter referred to as the “Application”, for what purposes such data is used, and what measures are taken to protect it.
We respect your privacy and strive to process only the data that is necessary for the operation of the Application, improving its stability, improving the quality of the service, and providing paid features.
2. Data Entered by the UserIn the Application, the user may independently enter data related to taking medications, for example:
- names of medications;
- medication schedules;
- records of taken, missed, or skipped doses;
- information about remaining medication stock;
- notes and other information added by the user.
This data is intended for the operation of reminders, schedules, medication intake history, and stock tracking features.
By default, such data is stored locally on the user’s device and is not transferred to our server.
3. Data Retention and DeletionAll information entered by the user, including medication names, intake schedules, intake history, notes, and medication stock information, is stored locally on the user's device.
We do not receive, store, or retain this information on our servers.
The data remains on the user's device for as long as the application is installed or until the user deletes the relevant information within the application.
Users can delete individual records using the application's built-in functions. Users can delete all locally stored application data by clearing the application's data in the device settings or by uninstalling the application.
Once the application data is cleared or the application is uninstalled, the locally stored data is deleted. We cannot restore or delete this information remotely because we do not have access to it.
If the user creates a backup file, the backup is stored in a location selected or controlled by the user. The user is responsible for storing and deleting such backup files.
4. Diagnostic DataTo ensure the stable operation of the Application, detect and fix errors, we may collect diagnostic and technical data, including:
- information about crashes and errors in the Application;
- device model;
- operating system version;
- Application version;
- technical logs of the Application;
- anonymized performance and stability data;
- anonymized data about actions performed in the Application.
Diagnostic data is used only to analyze errors, improve the quality of the Application, and increase the reliability of reminders.
Diagnostic data is not intended to identify a specific user and is not used to display personalized advertising.
If third-party services are used to collect diagnostic data, such services may process technical information in accordance with their own rules and privacy policies.
Diagnostic services used: Firebase Crashlytics, AppMetrica.
5. Purchase and Subscription DataPaid features, subscriptions, or one-time purchases may be available in the Application.
Payments are processed through an app store or payment provider, such as Google Play, RuStore, or another service. We do not receive or store full bank card details, payment account details, or other payment credentials of the user.
To verify a purchase, provide access to paid features, and restore purchases, we may receive or process the following data:
- the fact of a purchase or subscription;
- the type of purchased product;
- the status of the subscription or purchase;
- purchase, order, or transaction identifier;
- technical data necessary to verify and restore the purchase.
This data is used only to provide paid features, verify purchase status, restore access, and resolve payment-related issues.
If purchase verification is performed through the Application’s server, the relevant technical purchase data may be transferred to the server to confirm the status of the purchase or subscription.
6. Transfer of Data to Third PartiesWe do not sell users’ personal data to third parties.
Data may be transferred to or processed by third parties only in cases necessary for the operation of the Application, for example:
- by diagnostic and error analysis services;
- by app stores and payment providers;
- by hosting providers or technical services, if they are used to verify purchases or operate paid features;
- in cases provided for by applicable law.
The transfer of data is limited to the purposes described in this Policy.
7. Backups and Data RestorationIf the backup feature is available in the Application, backup data may be stored locally on the user’s device or in a storage location selected by the user.
If the user independently exports a backup file or transfers it to third-party storage, the user is responsible for the security of such file and the selected storage location.
If cloud synchronization or server-side data storage is introduced in the Application in the future, this Policy will be updated before such functionality is used.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Application does not use cookies in the way they are used on websites.
At the same time, third-party SDKs used for diagnostics, analytics, payments, or app store functionality may use their own technical identifiers or similar technologies in accordance with their own rules.
8. Data SecurityWe take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
The user is also responsible for protecting their device, including using a password, PIN code, biometric protection, regularly updating the operating system, and installing applications from trusted sources.
9. User RightsThe user may:
- stop using the Application;
- delete data created in the Application using the Application’s own tools or by deleting the Application from the device;
- contact us with questions about privacy and data processing;
- request information about the processing of their data, if such data is processed by us.

10. ChildrenThe Application is not specifically intended for children and is not aimed at intentionally collecting children’s data.
If the Application is used by a minor, their parents or legal representatives are responsible for such use.

The current version of the Policy is published on the page where this Policy is posted. We recommend checking this page periodically for changes.
Continued use of the Application after the Policy has been updated means that the user agrees to the new version of the Policy, unless otherwise provided by applicable law.
